As for your list, there are a few good ones in there. But really, I perfer bands with more vocal talent, rather than those that just bark into the mic.

Koshak, I'm finally checking out the new Gizmachi stuff right now, pretty damn good! Can't wait to see a new album. Also, I wanted to fill you in on a new (to me) band I found the other day. May not be news to you, but I figured I'd toss it out there anyway. They're called "Poisonblack". Goth Metal type band without the americanized "goth" traits, which makes for killer tunes. Kinda along the same lines as Evergrey and bands of that nature. Check em out sometime (songs of note: Rush & The Living dead)

I thought I was the only person alive who liked in flames...awesome. I live in a suburb town and I don't come across as one of "those kids" but I usually pull up to soccer or a friend's house and minus or system is pounding out of my windows. I get some weird looks...and then the song changes and it'll be something like "blue in green" by miles davis rofl.
P.S. the new Jimmy Eat World album rocks.
