There was an earthquake about 45 minutes ago... The epicenter wasonly about 6 miles away from my town... It lasted about 5 seconds or so, but it was crazy... anyone in the bay area felt it by any chance????

 

I dont live near there, but is everyone O.K.?

 

yeah, nothing fell over at my place or anything... the quake checked in at 4.2 on the scale, but since it was so close to Concord, the full force was felt... and like i said, It feels crazy... everyone from my condo complex ran out at the same time

 

We had a 5.4 earlier this week on the northcoast/ Humboldt County area and everything was all good. I'd much rather deal with these smaller ones than some crazy 1904 version earthquake. These small ones lessen the likelihood of such an event in the near future. Glad everyone was OK down in your direction

 

Another reason why i hate living in the bay.

 

I was in my biology lab when I felt it and almost made me drop my slide.

 

I'm in bayarea, but I didn't feel anything...?

My dog knew it was coming almost 45 sec to a minute before it hit. Good boy. To bad he ran out of the room like he was hurt..I spent to much time chasing him down to realize that he was just freaked out by the soon to be felt QUAKE

 

It was in the East bay, Walnut Creek, Concord area that's why... Santa Rosa is pretty far away
