Yeah, check out their rating, and read some of the feedback. Also, try to read every detail of their descriptions before you commit to the sale

most of my stuff comes from ebay...not only car stuff I must say. Just use common sense and read feedback. If it's too good to be true it probably is

also watch out for the shipping rates. something that should cost $5-10 to ship will be more like 20-40. that irritates me beyond belief. they make you think you're getting a great deal on a part, until shipping gets calculated in. i wish they would just set the price a little higher and charge a fair rate on shipping. i personally hate buying from ebay, but i still do it from time to time because it's convenient.

I don't buy a ton of stuff from ebay, maybe 12 things in the past 3 years, but I have never had a problem with anything. I've bought car stuff, computer parts, ipod, digital camera, and other things too. Just use common sense, and if you do get screwed, make sure you know the procedure for filing complaints. My sister lost $45 or so because she waited too long to file, or didn't file soon enough... I don't remember the story. But there are plenty of reputable people/companies on there.

watch out for those cheap tail lights. Mine started leaking and almost came apart. When I called to complain, they said they would replace them cuz they only had a 30 warranty. total BS... Just watch out...

I've used eBay quite a few times for electronics, no car parts yet. Had good luck except for 1 time out of about 20.

Yeah, don't get a body kit but i've had pretty good luck with them. In fact, I just ordered a new intake off there.

I have not bought anything from E-Bay but I am registered. I research the company and see if they are legit. Just do some research like everyone said. To start, maybe you could buy something that's not expensive and if you loose, then your lose is minimal.

I haven't found anything I like so I haven't bought anything.
