EK EF EG ??..where did these namess come from?

i no they represent the different years of the civic..but where did the initals come from and is it short form for somthing?

the vin number. but some of these only apply to jdm civics ef is jdm only a usdm is an ed

They're Chassis codes.

yeah i think taht EG is only JDM based.. cause my vin says EH... but i like the sound of EG much better for some reason
