Enjoying the Night
Ok so I manned up today.....I woke up at 8 am and drove to the honda dealer.....I then spend 7 hours changing my headgasket.....what a bioch it was.......now its 6:30 and im drunk off my *** because ive got nothing else to do...well not till 9 because a female friend is coming to visit.....but i was just wondering....is it bad that im drunk at six thirty at night?....I mean i dont work really....just doing the landscaping on wednesday and thursday....so why not right? I sure hope you concur.......changing the headgasket was a pain in the ***......but at least no more overheating......so i celebrated with some miller lights.........I think i still want a B series motor thou.....Maybe ill get a few bucks for the D????
I seen a 5 speed swap for $200 on another forum and man to tell you the trruth you could do that also on your own or with a buddy in a day. Glad you have not bailed on the D(Yet)
i do not know enough about manual trannys to do it thou.....I do already have a trans in my shed too.....it just seems like its beyond my ability.....my friends are still amazed that i drive a turbo civic so that shows u how mechanicaly inclined they are.......they know nothing......im kinda leaning towards a 5 speed b swap for the lower milage and the 5 speed trans....iu
Man you take your auto tranny out, put a manual tranny in, put a 5 speed pedal set in, install your clutch master cyl., install your axels. add clutch fluid, bleed the system, and bam your done. If you can change a Intake Manifold, add a turbo setup, wire the blue box, and change a head gasket a auto to manual swap is cake.

Well man do what you want as it is your car but you will regret spending all that money to have nothing more than the ability to make around 50 more whp. Money that could be spent on rods, pistons, rod bolts, head studs, a better way to tune, and a tuning session. Hell you could also slap a 18G turbo on and make more power but like I said it's your car and your choice. I will be here to lend support if I can.
