So what's that leave, like 95 of them on the planet?

I bet the rich old fart with one sitting on display in his living room gets a good chuckle everytime he sees one of these stories. "cha-ching"
I think there were 300-400 made originally. Not only that, you had to be a previous customer to buy one. And i'm pretty sure you had to provide some kind of proof you were actually going to drive it, and not just gonna leave it on display somewhere.

Not true. I mean, yes they did make 400 of them, but most were kept right at Ferrari's test track. Not only to you have to be a previous customer, but rather a longtime enthusiast. Only people who had bought and track raced Ferraris were even offered the car at first. But there is no having to show proof that you will drive it, thats just dumb

They actually made 399 of them. They did market studies and determined they could sell 400 of them so they made one less than that.

As far as how many are left, there's 399. Ferrari will fix any limited production car no matter what the damage is. Remember the one that got split in half in Malibu? Ferrari "fixed" it (made a new one and stuck the same serial number on it.) The news reports always say people totaled them but that crap is all for the story.

Sorry to bring up a dead topic, but I have to do this:

This is forshadowing at its best- Undercover Brother was on today, and since I didn't work until 4, I decided to watch it....It got the the part where he was trying to escape his enemies in his car, and the passanger was complaining about how slow his car is. He then turns to her and says "This car was made in the '70's....It aint no Ferrari"...

evidently it wasn't, because he didn't total it...

sorry that I wasted 30 seconds of your life...
