Done with finals! Woohoo!

(If I passed all my classes) I only need 14 more units now until I can go to a University! I'm so stoked about this winter break. I can't wait to go skiing and chill with some of my old homies.

Does HCF go to college? How did your semester/quarter go?

 

I go to UC Berkeley, and this semester was my worst one[:@][:@][:@][:@], I procrastinated too much.

I pretty much regret going to berkeley because is too damn hard to maintain a high GPA. Oh well, I guess I just have to do really good on my MCAT's if I want to get into medical school[&:]

 

I finished last Thursday. Just waiting for grades to come in.

 

I finished last Thursday and I got a 3.7 for this semster. Im happy with it because it is my major classes, so all As and one B+ isnt too shabby.

 

Yo **** finals...alright listen to this shiz....i have a B in english the WHOLE semster and i take my final and if you dont pass your final you have to retake the whole class again...and guess what I FAILED my final.......

Its bullshiz cuz i had a B the whole semster.....

sorry i had to rant...

 

I go to the University of Texas and have A's in all my classes so far, finals went well. Still waiting on one more final to get posted, I'm kind of nervous.

 

You are so lucky!! That was my dream school. I have lot of family that went there. I tried so hard, but unfortunately i never made it there, oh well.

i can see why your professor gave you a b in english from how you wrote above lol , i go to john jay college of criminal justice in nyc, my first semester went pretty good, just waiting for test results

Was the grading structure revealed to the students at the beginning of the semester? If so, who cares what you did all semester long because it sounds like you could have just about shown up for the final, passed it and then passed the course. Sucks!

Anyway, answer this burning question for me, if you can. Why do young people attempt to imitate the most f'd up, ignorant sounding people on the planet with their speech patterns, looks, gesturing , etc? I graduated from Arizona State back in 1978 and have been an electrical engineer for 30 years now. If you ever looked, sounded, or communicated like the "trend" of the day, you were pretty much stuck in place, that's if you could get past the interview process in the first place.

The guys that know me from the HCF forum know that I am probably the most irreverent, un-politically correct person on the planet, BUT, when I need to be professional and represent, NO ONE will confuse me with Snoop Dog or 50 Cent. Pull up your pants, literally and fuguratively, because you'll be out there soon enough trying to make a decent living. Emulate winners and you will win!
