Not bad. I started a project like this, but then bought my civic, and haven't spent a penny on the computer since

I got an old school server computer, not too big, but at least 3 times the size of an average pc. In a nutshell its going to be two computers in one, with a motherboard on each side, and shared drives and whatnot.

....but it'll be a looooooong time before I finish that at the rate I'm going with the civic, haha

Whats the processor speed? A friend of mine wants to buy an Alienware and i was telling him that you could build one just like it for way cheaper. How much did u end up spending on that?

yeah..i bought a computer at best buy...it was on special, with like 700 bucks in rebates, so i paid next to nothing for it...and i drive a fast car....

but i guess that if having a really fast computer, and driving a cavalier is your thing, than good for you...

I just realized there is no point in sinking money into an economy car to make it go from snail to slow. I put alot of money into my car's audio and thats about all I am going to put into to it other than maintainance. It is a good reliable car that just needs to get me from Nashville to Memphis. I drive my car literatly about every other week during school. Everything, including campus, is walking distance of my apartment.

And I drive a sunfire

I guess I just want to wait till I have a good job when I get out of school to mess with performance on cars, cause at this point I am broke.

To each to their own.

It's an Amd Opteron 148 which is the equivilant of a AMD 3700+, or a P4 3.7. I got the processor on sale for $230
