The Flu..
Anyone else got it? Ive had it pretty bad for the past like 4 days. This was the first day Im feeling somewhat ok. I went to the hospital finally on Friday night cause my doctors office was closed, and the doctor told me not to go back to work until atleast tuesday. Im bored, sick, and hungry. And I have no voice haha..it sucks.
And it seems like I missed quite a bit since Ive been gone..

i was sick in november but i am not sure what it was, but here is my three step process for getting better. medicate(i personally get to the point of almost ODing), sleep (arround 36 hours works quite well), and then medicate some more. i gaurantee that you will feel better
Thanks for the advice. I have been medicating for 4 days..The problem was that I wasnt resting at all. The first two days I felt awful I still went to work. The first day I worked a double too. Then on my day off (Friday) I drove to Lodi, about an hour or so from where I live to see my dad, cause he couldnt drive a little farther to come see me. That made it even worse. But yesterday I rested a lot, and felt horrible all day and night. Todays alright.
And Dr..are you really a doctor? I might sound really dumb asking that, but you work in the hospital?

i havent been sick but my bro has been really sick the last 4 days also, he hasent gone to work and just been at home resting, i hate when a family member gets sick because now i think im going to get it...i hope not
no. I'm not a doctor (only one on TV, lol, er my mind)...
but I do work in a hospital... marketing department. lol.
but i do know what the best advice for flu is. get a flu shot if you can get it early on.
if you can't, then take Thera-Flu as much as possible when you feel the flu coming on. It's AWESOME!!1
and rest as much as possible, because your body feels aches and pains because your immune system is fighting off the infection which causes you to tire.
so you might as well get some rest, because you're going to be out of commission regardless.
