I got fat from my own cooking...gotta find a job in the end of May. Unemployment doesn't last forever...heh. And than I'll be working on that New Beetle I have to buy my girl as a birthday present...

My g/f bake and i cook. She did take auto shop so know how to change the oil and oil filter and possible some other stuff. Not really into car just wanted to know how to do those things.

 

lucky bastard. although i will give her credit. she decided to learn stick on her own, and i taught her within a half hour and she didn't stall my car (phew, the tranny survives another day)

 

dont you cringe when they stall your car []

 

its worse when they almost stall it, and it starts bouncing, then they keep bouncing the hell out of it cause they dont know what to do.

 

i am proud to say that i am lucky enough to be able to say that my GF might be more into cars than i am....

ok, maybe not more, but probably very near as much...

 

I hate when that happens. I now teach girls at my school to drive stick for $40 an hour... I just knock it out of gear and give 'em a lecture about the clutch pedal.

 

an incline gives my girl problems...she stalled four times in a row...ny poor clutch. lol.

 

I taught my girlfriend how to drive my car. It scared the hell out of her, because I told her to rev it up to about 1,500 rpms and then slowly let the clutch out. She revved it to around 4,000 (to where the turbo was spooling) and dumped it. She got a lesson in how boost works that night.
