I'm a girl and i am a tuner. and all the other girls who are into tuning more power to you. and I'm honestly annoyed with all the bashing i get towards me from some people because im girl just saying dumb stuff a few people have made comments but even on other sites as well. I know its only a handful of you who think that i'm girl i dont know anything. well let me clear the air up for you, my fathers a mechanic by the time i was 4 months old i was underneath a car with him when my mom was at work, no lie, most babies first words are moma and dadda but me, it was coco and muffler, i love car everything about them.. old ones, new ones and the ones inbetween. i am a president of a car club. i do almost everything on my car. i hate asking/paying someone to do it for me. and i do not know everything but im always learning more. so please, stop hating on me cause im a girl who is a tuner.

Well, I'd take this thread a lot more seriously if you hadn't used the word "tuner" with so much FAIL

Tuners are the people who use Dynos and computers to build/edit fuel/timing maps in an attempt to help you draw more power from your vehicle.

That being said, I knew what you meant, and am sorry that you feel the need to prove something to us. If you're having issues with other members, please PM me a few links and I'll be sure that the situation is resolved.

ok listen girl, no one cares if you are a girl or not. If you give people a hard time here, expect it in return. If you are nice then people will be nice to you.

A similar thread came up in the camaro forums, a girl complaining about the same thing. We told her the same thing.

that really doesnt seem like a pissed off response. theres smileys and LOLs, seems to have taken the **** jokes rather well, its all in good fun wat more do you expect out of a bunch of youngns

 

I think it's cool. It's good to see girls into cars and actually knowing about them. It really frustrates me when many girls don't know anything about their cars and pay someone $20 in labor to do something as easy as changing their windshield wipers. I'm proud of you for doing car stuff yourself, it shows you're a determined and hard-working skilled person.
