gone and done it.. no more $10,000 towards the car
well.. goodbye boosted vtec b18, pimp rims, sport suspension. I found the perfect investment house over in Wisconsin. Problem is it takes ALL my money to buy and fix. [:@]
Plus side though.. I think I can make about 60 grand profit on the house in the three years my wife is in law school.
If I pull that off with my own blood, sweat, and tears... MAN am I treating myself to a project car!
For now though, I think I can find a regular integra engine at a salvage yard to give me a BIT of power or I'll swap a head from a D at least. (70 hp just don't cut it no matter WHAT)

^ too true... it sucks that you have to give up the car, but realistate investments can get you BIG money, i know of some people that don't even have "real" jobs, but they will buy a house for 60K then fix it up and sell it for 100K, then do that over and over... so they end up making like 20-30K profit after the fixing up... good luck with the house man
this is the best move you'll ever make in your life.
cars lose value. houses gain it.
keep it well kept and maintained and it should gain at least twice in value in 20 to 30 years.
besides you can't take a shower in a civic. :-P

I'll be living in the house as I fix it up. Luckily I have a good amount of kickoff money (formerly car money) to get the house liveable in short order.
I'm signing off for a while, no internet at the new place yet.. stay cool without me people~
