Default it was a GOOD day...

the winter chill broke long enough for me today to:

1. Change my oil and filter

2. Clean up my engine bay

3. Clean the underside of my hood, which was totally GROSS

4. Take out my OEM intake resonator, which was nothing more than dead weight after installing my Injen Short Ram Intake

5. Wash my car because road tar had overrun the undersides

6. Vacuum inside the car

7. Detail the inside with Armour All and condition the leather seats, wheel and shifterboot...

8. and lastly, do a photochop for the HCF Photoshop thread... LOL.

man, it was a good day... [sm=bananallama.gif]

it's amazing what a little simple green, water and elbow grease will do for a disgusting engine bay... lol

lets see some pics from this good day. looks like you got a lot done and accomplished today.
here's some pictures I took right after I finished. it was getting dark so i had to use flash, so that's why the valve cover looks so dusty. it's clean though.

I also wiped the hoses, but I didn't have any protectant for them. damm...

btw, i forgot to mention that I ALSO shampooed the car's interior upholstery. damm i got a lot done today. lol.

engine bay. notice the shiny hood underside. I wish i had something i could use to scrape the rust off some of the metal bits, but oh well, that's for another day.

and notice my shiny, clean interior. WOO-HOO!

also, you can barely notice my spiffy new OEM floor mats hidden underneath the wall-weather Wal-Mart specials. lol.

I won the new OEM floor mats for $60 off of ebay!!1 it was an early xmas present for my car.

btw, conditioning leather is a muddabeetch. especially OLD leather. lol.
