Oh, no doubt that would be fun as hell. I'm just saying I'm suprised it happened. I think somewhere here in Florida tossed the idea around to give a boost to tourism (Miami maybe?), and all the people who owned property around where the track would have been got all pissed and they decided not to do it. It never got around to be official.

 

Yeah Baltimore is doing it b/c downtown there is a bajillion Hotels and the tourism isnt really all that and our baseball team sucks so I mean I guess the city has to make money somewhere.... If you read that article one of them says we have more hotels in the track outline then any other city that has hosted it....

 

True, the Orioles are sucking. The only reason to go to one is the Orioles vs. Royals game, and that's only to hear the announcers try to pronounce it =P. Try it, its hard.
