Saw this over on cbrforum... it explains the point systems in various states, along with the penalties of different (but not all) violations.... thought it was pretty cool

**edit WOW just started clicking on random states and in Idaho you can 2 points for starting a parked vehicle??????? so i guess Idaho is filled with parked vehicles since you can never start one since its parked

Driving on divided highways (Code 49-1421(1)): 1 point
Passing vehicles proceeding in opposite directions (Code 49-631): 2 points
Driving on highways laned for traffic (Code 49-637): 1 point
Vehicle turning left (Code 49-641): 3 points
Vehicle entering highway (Code 49-642): 3 points

so basically, you can't drive on a divided highway? can't pass vehicles that are approaching you from the opposite direction (isn't that what happens when you are driving on a two lane road?), you can't drive on highways meant for driving on? you can't turn left? you can't enter the highway?
