Actually i don't think that Hockey can really count. where it was invented in Canada, but it was by British soldiers when Canada was still a British colony. They invented it as a past time during the Winter.

The lightbulb was invented in Great Britain in 1809 by Humphry Davy.

 

^ the invention is always given to the person who gets the patent for it first, so even if he did invent a type of lightbulb he didnt patent it, otherwise he would have been given credit for it

 

I voted for JAVA just because well I think java script is cool
