Not fair to race a bike and a car. If I had a road 20 times as wide as my car or the bike only had like a foot wide lane to stay in then itd be a different story I belive. Ill take a bike in the twisties if he only had a 12 inch lane gaurenteed

seriously. a bike only uses a few inches of road, so its like a car having a three lane road through twisties.

i agree with sacicons...that isnt a standard GTR...i wasnt sure whose version that is, but i didnt think it was a stock piece.

well... it was my first car. so i beat the living crap out of it ( trying to do doughnuts by dropin the clutch at 7 grand) and i payed 7k for it. i put it in the local paper for 10.5k just for fun really... and i sold it... biggest mistake of my life. it was also a 92 with 95k on it. so im sure it wasnt far from needing major work done.

oh, and btw, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! overratted? that isnt just an R-34 guys. thats a Z-tune if im not mistaken. i do believe ANY car would be hard pressed to hang with that in just about any race you can think of. it ran the fastest production numbers ever. 10.06 400m. and is hand built by the guys at Nismo. to dominate anything.

and bikes are only as fast as the rider, where a great car can make a decent driver look like a god. so its possible to build a civic that could beat one, if the driver of the 'Busa was sub-par. and everyone needs to get their heads out of the straight-line gutter. Kappa and Leviii can appreciate that.

thank you Kappa. it seems like everyone here is obsessed with drag racing. i mean damn, civics arent even that great for it, they have way more of an advantage in the twisties. we're just lucky honda builds engines that we can make good for drag racing if we want, though if straightline is all that important to you, get a car with a bigger, or factory FI, motor. and maybe even AWD or RWD, as FWD is ultimately a handicap in dragging. i mena look at Se7ens car, if he had a rwd, it would be deep 10s, instead of high 11s. though it makes a damn good sleeper, and its still a sweet car. but im sure he will admit hes probably spent too much money on it already, and he knows he isnt done.
