why don't you guys try playing REAL guitars? It's much more rewarding

 

I have tried,I've took lessons and everything. I just don't have the coordination and patience for it. Plusthe instructor said that playing guitar hero actually will help your rhythm on a real guitar. Plus this is cheaper haha.

For the price of the game and equipment, you could get a decent used guitar and a new set of strings no problem.

but, whatever floats your boat. Just know that chicks don't dig gamers as much as musicians

hey i play both.... guitar hero does help with rythmn and hand eye coordination... its much different to play, but can also help with finger dexterity. i dont play guitar hero to impress anyone, its just a fun game to play when hanging out with friends... chicks are impressed when you can shred the buttonboard to dragonforce (awesome song), but they also enjoy when the real guitar comes out and i serenade them sweetly... yes, i will have to agree real guitar ftw haha

 

I just started picking up guitar and it is a chick magnet...

 

gh3 is actually for ps2 and ps3 so its pretty much available to any console....n yep lovin it im on the last set on expert...i still gota put gh2 in from time to time as i miss my sweet child o mine n freebird lol

 

Ive been playing guitar for nine years, and it doesnt seem like it helped my GH skills at all.

 

Thats cause they are pretty much nothing alike. I have 3 friends that are damn good at guitar but I own them in guitar hero.

 

+1 for REAL guitar but guitar hero is fun to play. i just gatta beat thru the fire and flames and also raining blood. what difficulty does everyone usually play on?
