i did my very first old change all on my own about a week ago..castrol GTX oil ,filter,and STP injecter cleaner, car runs nice and smooth..now time for plugs,cap and rotor,fule filter,tranny fluid..and a few more thingsit dosent really need it but i dont even no when these parts were last replaced

yea..I'm going to try the whole "take care of the car" thing. Cause it's crazy that despite being a domestic or import, if you take care of an engine, it lasts. an amazing thing it is!

And frankly, I'm the kind of person that it wouldnt matter if I drove a brand new SI, or a 1992 sunbird; I take pride my car because it is one the few things I have that is my responsibility to maintain.


And it's a sunfire ya dirty dodge bastage

there is no need to run synthetic thou.......just use reg oil and change it frequently. I wish I didnt have to use synthetic........but my car needs it.

well, it's only $10 more every 3-5000 miles(which is like 4 months for me), so if it benefits even the slightest bit it is worth it.

And I did a little formula and if I change my oil every 4000 miles instead of 3000 using syn, then it pays for itself over time.
