Last year when gas prices hit 3.50 a lot of ppl was flipping out. just about that time i got an email saying that we needed to do something since we ARE the consumers. you know this is a FACT!! if you bring something to the market and ppl dont buy/like it your product goes to hell. and your money too...

Well the email i got was not to fill up on a particular gas station, say mobil ( has to be a big company ). there is a mobil about 2 miles from my house and i used to fill my car there all the time. just there, no where else. well the email was saying that if we CONSUMERS stop using mobil gas then that company will be forced to drop their prices, and when they do others will follow. this is not stupid. i did it, since i got that email i stop filling up at mobil, and 2 weeks ago the gas station ( that was new to the area ) is now sunoco. coincidence? i dont know.

If we do this as a whole we can hit bone ( or company wallets, bank whatever ) so say we from now on stop using mobil or shell, that are the most expensive gas out there... whos with me??

 

Its called starting a Gas war, things like that wont work for places like where live, our gas prices are regulated. So even though the store could drop the price doesn't mean they would.

stop complaining about gas prices, because they pay $8 - $9 a gallon for regular over in europe.

what does what Europe pay have anything to do with what we get gouged for? They get 5 weeks vacation too. F Europe! Keep it real in the USA!

because oil (from which gasoline is derived from) is a global commodity, not just a U.S. commodity.

 

i dont see why people are so worked up for. its not like gas is un affordable still, it just went up a little bit. an extra 10 or 20 bucks aint gunna stop me from having fun and driving around.
