^ I believe my friend said literally the exact same thing when I told him I'd decided on getting a Beretta 92FS over a USP .45. Of course, I'm getting (or at least planning to get) an XDm .45, so that kind of takes care of that. Truth be told, Boondock Saints has a lot to do with my wanting a 92FS

well if you carry a gun for protection you should be carring hollow's which shouldn't just "**** them off"

BTW has anybody seen the recent attempt at banning guns in Chicago what a joke thinking that you have more authority than the constitution lol.

Yup, we've been following it on smith-wessonforum. It's freakin ridiculous. You can carry a handgun... in your home.

my favorite ammo is a hydro shock like a hollow but with a kick. when i said 9mm would just **** them off i mean you shoot someone jacked up on crack or meth it doesnt knock them down like a 40 or 45 in my experience.

My argument is most of the military forces use Beretta 92F, a 9mm. Most Navy SEALs use Sig Sauer P228 (military designation M11), also a 9mm. Granted, the H&K USP.45 is in use in the military, but the 92F and M11 are a little more prevalent

If it's good enough for our military, especially the SEALs, I think it's good enough for personal defense. That being said, I'm still getting an XDm .45, but that's mostly because I want it, nothing to do with the difference in caliber
