HDTV as monitor Q?
So i just picked up a 32" Panasonic Viera today, now i have a video card with Dual DVI and an S-Video/Component connections. the TV has component, HDMI, and S-Video... now i know S-Video is ****, so my question to you tech people is, should i use Component or DVI-HDMI converter for connecting to my TV? i wanna see HCF on big screen

DVI to HDMI converter is the way to go. S-Video/Component will still give you an analog signal. DVI is a digital signal and HDMI is also a digital signal so this will give you the best picture. The only difference between DVI and HDMI is that HDMI has audio and video whereas DVI only has video.
