"The first of these undercover operations was conducted recently in a Dallas suburb where agents arrested 30 individuals for public intoxication in a “sweep” of 36 bars, according to the commission's Carolyn Beck. "

That means that there was only about 1 truely drunk person per bar. Pick up the pace, Dallas!

Next time you go to a bar, just look out for the guy with the crew-cut drinking club soda.

You know texas is the only place that I've ever seen a 6XL t-shirt. I just thought I'd share that.

I don't go to bars nor do I drink but that is ridiculous. Where do they get some of these laws.

The bars will just take on a private club name sake. They dont arrest people in bars here in TN but a certain number of bars have......should I say illegal activities going on in them and the owner protects his investment by deeming it a private club. The only way a cop can enter a private club is if they are called and asked to enter it. Once again this is a way our government is stripping the rights away from us that it at the same time is sending our troops to die to protect in Iraq.

This has nothing to do with federal government Texas Legislators enacted and passed this law, if texans dont like it, vote in new representatives in two years who will fight to change this. This has nothing to do with people going to iraq or the government stripping anyones rights to think that is pure ignorance. BTW i am against the war, and did not vote for Bush

yea but I think that texans didnt really get a chance to vote on it in the first place. Recently some pack of liberal ******** jacked up the property tax. My dad got a bill almost 2 times as much as last year. It actually was a bonified case of taxation without representation. And he got away with not paying it after rasing hell about it

I'm pretty sure that taxes are going up in our area, but there was a refferendum. The schools are pretty much goin broke so the tax goes up to pay for the school. And we jus bought this house too...

It's all about generating cash. How do think they finance all those helicopters in the air to catch speeders? Oh wait that's to generate cash also. never mind.
