HEARTBREAKING!! 4 all of us
i can tell you that if you do get pulled over andyou do have a motor swap or what ever they can run the vin numbers to make sure that they are the right ones. But also officers in CA if they see any aftermarket parts they are allowedd to search your car. Good thing I have a TX Drivers licence and plates on my car. So if i get pulled over there I can play dumb, and say Im not from here only visiting and then leaving in a few days.
Most of the cars police examine are illegally modified. Sergio Zavala, 18, was pulled over in his 1993 yellow Honda Civic for a broken tail light in December. He had purchased a B-20 V tech engine with a double-overhead cam a couple months before, and after a police investigation, was told it was stolen.
there trying to do this up here in ontario. mills probably knows about whats going on. the stupid guy is trying crush cars with just phone in tips about a car.

While I don't condone street racing, I think crushing their carswas a bit harsh. If they did truly have stolen parts on their car, then yes they need to be impounded and then either parted out or sold in an auction, like all the other carslaw enforcementseize. If they got pulled over for street racing I don't think they should be punished like that. These are more than just racers, I'm sure these kids drive these cars everyday, to and from work, school, ect... What are they suppose to do now? They could have came up with a muchbetter punishment that would have had the same affect.
That is the most ridiculous article I have ever read. It angers me and I live in Ontario, luckily I have a slow cx and don't race but still.
It states that if authorities receive a tip that a car is "juiced up" and has the capability to street race the car can be seized and destroyed.
That is ridiculous, just because someone has an engine swap and a turbo doesn't mean they street race. Many of you on here have those mods, it doesn't automatically mean you race on the streets.
I think crushing the cars all together is wrong too, it should be a large fine, community service, and loss of license for a year. No need to destroy a vehicle that has thousands of dollars invested in.
The above punishment is enough.

I for one, think that even if they are taking the cars, it is rediculous to just throw thousands in the trash like that. Either part them out or sell the cars at auction for charity or something. It is rediculous to be so wasteful.
That really does kinda make me sick to my stomach. In their position, I'd be crying like a little girl over my car, its pretty much all I have. I'm thankful I live in FL where they dont do that BS(for now). A lot of kids either can't make it to a track on days its open or dont have one in their area. I for one have to drive an hour to an 1/8th mile track. The nearest 1/4 mile track is 4 hours away.
