That's cool man. Good luck! Just don't be one of those people with a 3 or 4 car garage with all their cars piled in the driveway and the garage piled with junk. I just can't stand to see that! [:@]It breaks my heart...

Thanks guys, heven't heard back from the bank yet but they don't have any good reason to turn me down.

When talking my wife into wanting this house I used words like "investment" and talked about the great area, the undervalued property, and the built-in equity.

But yeah.. I pretty much fell in love with it when I saw a detatched 3 stall garage in the fenced in back yard with driveway space for her car.

(We've already struck a deal where I get the whole garage for shop space) [sm=drooldude.gif]

All though her car IS my old 98 hatch... so I guess I'll give it some space when I'm in-between projects

Good luck!

If you don't mind me asking, where did you go to look for foreclosure properties?

We called realitors and one called back. The one that called us back is pretty cool. She hooked us up with the same search engine she uses online and the house we made an offer was listed along with the 'normal' houses.

I don't know anything about the property auctions and other ways to find forclosed homes. Heck, I'm barely understanding the finer points of just getting a %@#$%! home loan!

I did take a major loss getting this house though. In convincing my wife of the coolness of the property, I told her I would put off on my engine swap and turbo since apparently having floors is more important than fast cars to SOME people
