saweet! Is it the "S"?? I drove one of those a while back, and man are they fun! Have a blast with it!

 

The dead giveaway that its not an S type is the tail pipe. S types have two that stick out in the middle.

 

oh. I'm not a huge fan of them or anything, so I know next to nothing about them. All I know is that when I had a chance to drive an S, I was all over that ****!

i almost bought a mini when i bought my 7thgen. i dig em, i think they're bad as hell

 

tehehehehe, I like it man, rock it and buy a pink Razr [8D] jk, Ive never drivin one but apparently they handle like RC cars.....

 

Yeah, I know I bought a MINI... I see you haven't driven one. But actually, because of the hatch and flip seats I can get WAY more in it than my Civic. There's also no clunky stereo stuff because it has the Harman/Kardon factory option which is soooo badass as far as factory stereos go.

Also, Remmy was right, it's just the base model... I drove both and decided that the supercharger wasn't worth the extra money. The only real difference is the S will keep you pinned to the seat for longer, in 1st and 2nd there isn't much difference. And as you guys prolly know I'm a N/A fan to begin with.

Oh and yeah... I plan on trading it before the warantee runs out, or when anything goes wrong. For now though, I don't even have to pay for oil changes or brake pads.

 

Congrats on the purchase! What kind of plans do you have for it? Minis can look real nice when modded and handle very well.

Modded Mini

 

This thing isn't getting modded til the warantee is up. Otherwise I'm F'ed in the A on service. It has the factory Aero Kit which looks killer and it has nice wheels so, for the next 3 years 36,000 miles it's stock.

Maybe if later if I can get ahaid on payments and stuff I'll get some Cooper Works stuff for it but whatever. It handles like it's on rails now, stops like nothing I've ever driven and has a really good engine and gearbox.

 

I hear ya man. Manufacturers are just looking for reasons to avoid upholding warranties now. If you have the slightest mod, (ahaaaa!!!!) they void it and you're stuck.
