My dad and brother got pack from Pennslyvania about 2 days ago with the civic. They said it was partcially(sp) snowing near Pittsburgh so when the car came back, it was covered in salt. For the entire first day my dad acted like it was a Royles Roy's and wouldn't even let me inside the dam thing, which is pretty wierd, since he's real laid back. Today he finally let me have the keys, and last night he wanted to pull it in, and the car wouldn't start, but I was sitting in it and 'locked' the steering wheel up so to speak I guess, so I jerked it around, and the car started right up. I had it in park and had it up to 5k rpm's. Dammm son that engine was sounding good. I was really happy to see it had a stock tach, so I didn't have to get one of those huge *** ricer one's, the yellow one's. I am really happy with the car, and can't wait to start modding it, but a few things are either bothering me, or are in my way. Sorry, I couldn't find the digital camera, and when I do find it, it'll have a bunch of pictures of the ncie shinned up civic.

1. The engine level gauge on the front dash clauster is un-plugged/cutt/not working.

2. When I'm in a relaxed 'driving' state, my left knee cap rubs up against the window control 'box'.

3. It may be a rumor, but it seems that the state of Maryland is making the age to get a learner's up to age 18.

Sweet! I remember when I got my first car, before I had my license. I would sit in it sometimes just to feel like I could take it out already..

lol na I'm only 6 foot at about 150 pounds. Maybe I just have to adjust the seat's alil more to find a better position. I leave my left foot on the 'block' in the upper left corner, which I must admit is a dam nice feature.

lol, no it's no Gansta lean, just a 'low profile' approach I guess you could call it, no 10 and 2 **** here... yeah, how tall are you? or should I say short? lol jp, I mit want to add it's a 2001 Honda Civic 4 door Sedan LX, with 17k miles on it!, yes I said seven-teen

 

im 6'3 and i wish the seat reclined back farther but its not that bad
