To give you guys a little quickie, F1 and WRC are my only favorite racing sports. Honda needs to whip out an AWD civic and really beef it up to compete with the wrx and evo. If Honda really worked on it they could blow subaru and most definatly mitsubishi out of the water. I know honda can make a good AWD. A 200 hp AWD rally civic shoud be a walk in the park for Honda.

 

apparently they got different goals. They are mostly concerned with economy.

 

they are whipping out a full sized truck tho. but econmy doesnt really have anything to do with rally racing when you think about it.

 

actually it does, because acura is the high performance line, and the reason they have a truck now is because they didnt have one.

 

but i do feel you though, but not a civic, but create a new car with AWD and 200hp. kind of like how toyota has the celica and the carolla.

 

my point is that i wish they would do it, because i would be first in line to buy one.

 

yea im surprised they havent yet. but that would be tough since the Evo and Sti both have such a strong and loyal following. a tough market to dive into i think. especially since as mentioned Honda is more of the everyday, economy car kind of company

 

Honda did make an awd civic for a while (not 200hp). I'v never seen one in the states but they do exist.

 

i've been thinkin that for a long time so i guess i would be second in line behind u.

 

I really think that even tuner guys would hop in because its an AWD ya know?
