I'm not sure if this topic has been brought up before..... I know a lot of Honda enthusiasts really love to mod their cars, and are heavily into the performance scene. But, Honda has always been known for it's economic value and overall reliability. So, with that being said, how many miles has your trusty Civic faithfully transported you? I've had two Civics. My first Civic (92' 4dr DX) I put about 170,000 miles on it and it had no problems when I traded it for the one I have now. Had to replace the clutch, distributor, and AC compressor. Engine ran like a charm. My current Civic (95' EX Coupe) has 246,000 + miles on it with maintenance including clutch, AC compressor and main line, distibutor, and slave cylinder. Engine is a hoss and runs at full compression. (no engine mods yet) Thanks Honda for making such reliable, safe, and economic cars!! [sm=smiley32.gif] (with a vast aftermarket performance selection might I add) Carry on....

 

mine is a 99 with 85,000 miles (23,000 of them are mine)

 

My boy (Darryl, '94 Ex) just clicked 150,000 last week. My woman's car (Tammy) is an '01 Lx and has 125,000


Wasn't one of Honda's Formula 1 motors voted "best motor ever built?"

 

99, about 87,000 or something like that, about 15k are mine

 

88, 129K with 26K being mine.

 

Uhm...95 civic DX HB and the clock just turned 145K....axle bearing....that's all

94 ex coupe 75,000 miles. It was my grannys car....so those are all "Sunday Church" Miles......the cars been babied ALL its life.
