Not gonna hydro lock anything, not pouring water into the intake. And water injection of one form or another has been around forever. Back in the 40's-50's it was an option on a caddy I believe. Holley used to make a kit you could buy off the shelf call Vari-Jection. This is merely an improved inexpensive form of something thats been around for some time.

If i'm not mistaken, he had to build it himself, with the help of a guide.
