Default I think I finally found a Civic--now a few questions

Well I found a 2004 White Civic EX 5spd here in Anchorage. Its been rough finding a civic up here let alone one with a 5spd. Its at a dealership that is asking 16k for it with 18,7XX miles. I got them down to 14,700 with fees and registration (things are a little more in AK--so this seems like a good deal--I may pay cash for it tonight or tomorrow). The only things it doesnt have on it that I want is a rear spoiler, tinted windows and an alarm. Where is a good place to buy OEM like spoilers cheap that are painted? Anyone have recommendations on a good alarm for it? Also is there anything I should be looking at as far as problem items since it only has 18,7XX miles on it? And finally, it will be mainly a commuter car--should I go ahead and start running Mobile full synthetic in it like I did my Toyota Tacoma? Anyone else use Mobile 1 in it and thinks its worth the extra cash? Also, I will have about 1k to spend on things for it after buying it (after the tint and alarm) what would be some good starts for it without voiding the remaining warranty? Thanks for all the help,

Dave

I always use mobil 1. Sounds like a good car. You shouldnt have any problems at 18k miles.

Clifford makes good alarms, just depends how crazy you need to protect it. Look to pay about 300-500 if you want like tilt protection, extra key fobs and motion sensors... I wouldnt do that much on a civic cuz if they really want it that bad dude, they will get it. I bought my spoiler off ebay and it was 119 painted I think. Usually a tint would be about 150-250. Get a short ram intake from like Injen or AEM cuz you wont want a full cold air when it snows. DOnt get them from ebay!!! Go to procivic.com and enter your car specs and it'll tell ya all the stuff you can get for it... If you had more cash I'd say white 17" rims and drop it down about 1 and 1/2 inches. THen go for exhaust (greddy or magnaflow), headers, wings, and a pilots liscence.

Are you going for show/go or a combination of the two?
Show: Get a lip kit or a body kit to go along with that wing.
Go: Intake/Header/Exhaust
