$6k? That's a good amount for a nice EG. You should be able to find a high mileage for 2-3k easy. Who cares if it has 500k miles on it, that engine is going bye bye anyway. But like someone said earlier, if you can find one already swapped for a little more, then that's good too. Best of luck to you. Looking forward to see it come together.

I know 40. I'm saying 6k is a good amount of funds available to find a good EG.

Do yourself a favor and buy one with a b18c swapped into it.
i will if i can find one for a good price. it doesnt matter whats in it, im pulling it to get it bored and stroked anyways. ive kinda made it a personal goal to make more than 3/4 as much torque as horsepower. looking at the TQ numbers the CFT civ is putting down on its 1.8L, if i hit their power i should be able to hit the torque i want too. but that wont be for a looong time so...

i dont think anythings going on till summer. im going to try to find out some stuff about the Jimmy. ive seen a Blazer at 131 that ran low 12s, i wanna find out what you can do to these things to get them that fast...because it would be EXCELLENT if i could buy it off my mom some day.
