I'm Civic hunting again!
The 2001 Ex that I had intended on buying turned into a nightmare, so I cancelled the deal.
Here's the scoop...........
I made a contract with the sleazy car salesman, and then when it came time to pick up the car, the contract was changed by the salesmanager to a higher price. They weren't gonna refund my $500 deposit because I backed out, until I called their bluff about changing the contract. They had also already changed the car's ownership into my name, so I said, "no deposit refund, I own the car because it was in my name". They realized I had em by the ***** and I got my $500 back before I signed the ownership back over to them.
Now, I think I'll keep looking for the original 2000 hatchback that I wanted, and keep savin up my cash until I find it. I'd like to get the HB and then do an engine swap, unless I find an exceptional deal on a 2000 SiR (160HP). I think it's cheaper insurance wise to get the HB and swap engines rather than buy an SiR.

Are the B16B's hard to find, and about how much are they?
I wanna try to get at least 160HP in there, I'm not gonna be racing, but I like my daily driver to have some power. I was thinking about the B16A.

I wish i had your kind of patience man. Don't get me wrong, i love my car and wouldnt trade it for any other, but at the same time its nice to be able to just sit and wait for that perfect deal. Good luck man and keep searching, it'll come soon!
Thanks, Forty.
I want somethin that's gonna make me happy, and I don't wanna settle for just anything. I've already passed up a few deals just because the body wasn't a color that I wanted. (I don't want a red or black Civic)

get a white one.
I dont know how much the b16b goes for Id guess more then a GSR and Less then the Teg type r.
Itd be sweet to make a Civic Type r replica though, and youd have plenty more then 160 hp
