im to that point
as im sure some of you are, where i just want to buy stuff for the car just to install it. i could care less what it is i just love the opportunity to work on the car taking things apart and putting back together. although i have no money to feed this want. my dads selling his truck which had a cd changer in it and he told me i could have it if i wanted to take it out of the truck. i didnt really have a want for a changer but i did just so i could pull the dash apart on the truck and the carpet for the wiring. then itake the panels of the civic and hide all the wiring to the trunk to make it look pretty. ive only used it a couple of times but it was fun installing it. but i spent my exhaust fund on a psp so it will be a while before i can buy things again. i just thought id let you know and to see if any of you feel the same way
i spent a bunch of my money for my car getting back into rc racing....... im tired of having to rebuild or replace parts on my DD. until i find a suitable chassis for a weekend warrior ocasional dd imma race rc.
I love working on my car but for some reason I will not do it alone. I always have to find a buddy to do it with me. I swapped my tail lights yesterday and it is a pain in the *** doing it on a 92-95 hatch.
I am in a search for a house right now, so i can have my own garage, then I can work on my cars whenever I want, instead of having to schedule with friends for their garage space. its driving me nuts waiting. but of course once i take on a house payment, I dont know if ill be able to afford any parts. or even internet for that matter[&:]
you can get laptops with wireless routers and just drive around neighborhoods and look for a signal, my dad does that whenever we go on vacation......lol i dont know if its legal or not so lets keep this on the downlow
sounds like you've got the bug. next thing you know it will be a full blown addiction. i found myself searching through my room yesterday for things i could sell on ebay or pawn so i could buy and APEXi V-AFC2 and a new fuel rail. i swear it's like i've got a crack addiction or something
