Im so beat. I work a lot and have barely any time for myself, let alone working on the civic. I just put like 6K on my amex with the swap and all the aftermarket parts. Ive almost had enough. I need you guys to keep me motivated to fix it. If ANYONE has an idea of where I can get some parts I need I really appreciate it. Peg leg hooked me up with a headlight and a blinker set, and I am forever grateful to him for that. I need the body parts, color is not important. Hood, Drivers front fender, Powersteering pump and resiv, and a bumper. Im getting a car to drive daily, so the civic is going to be on the back burner for awhile, but I still need the parts/motivation to get it done. I drove it today around the parking lot and I miss it already, but idk how much more time/$ I can put into it.

 

Well pete I am going to be looking for some info froom you here pretty damn soon, If you check out my post in the general talk section you will see why.

 

Pete, I'll see if there's anything out this way. Unfortunately most 5th gens in yards here are bare shells...

 

really wish i could help out. theres a junk yard here thats usually literted with 5th gens, stripped from engine to interior but body parts are usually left alone. just think u live a lil to far from here to make easy for shipping/transfer..

 

AJ, if you find a car with the correct body panels...I'm sort of in the middle and I could help with the transfer of parts to Pete.

good idea. Pete, if ur not in that big of a rush, i could get these parts to Gene by mid August at the next autox events. if not even still Gene and i could prolly meet up half way to exchange theparts. ill try my best to make time these next couple weeks to hit up the junk yard and snag what i can, just keep us posted on what parts u need.

im closer to ya, i live in central MD and Gene lives in PA. tho im not exactly close tho, still like 8 hrs away i believe..

 

Pete i may be able to hook you up with a power steering pump/resvoire, let me see what i can do, do you need both or just the pump?
