i'm so bummed
welp, i'm bummed right now, and i figured some people on here will understand. my boyfriend is trying to find a new car, and today we found a 99 civic Si at a dealership. this car was gorgeous....black, completely stock, owned by an older woman, beautiful paint, nice interior, 72k miles. the starting price was $12900...which seems a little high for a six-year old car. but, he ended up not getting it because he's upside down on the car he drives now (a subaru legacy...a big POS). his monthly payments would have been over $400 a month for 4 years. *sigh* i wish i had a guinness to drink.
I have to disagree DCA, I paid 12800 for my '02 stock EX with 24k miles on it, personally I think that is a bit much for that car! My suggestion XE, develope a taste for whiskey, it will never do you wrong!!!! Nectar fo the gods!!!
well, here in colorado, blue book (most retarded reference ever) says dealer retail is 12700. buuuuut...the way i see it, it's already 6 years old...that's more than half a decade! the only way i was able to afford my civic was because i worked at a dealership in a really snotty town where hondas are the least desired cars. so it sat for a month and i was able to get it for 9000 ('01 ex coupe, 42k).
the thing that really killed me was the sound of the engine starting up....sounded just like my sister's integra before it got stolen and stripped.
sorry...i'm just having a b**ch fest tonite. [:'(]
