im so ****in sick of this ****
I think if people were smart enough to control it on their own and be responsible, it wouldnt be such a problem, and possibly not outlawed compltetly. Its because morons smoke, then drive all over town, and operate heavy machinery, that it is a problem. If people could regulate themselves, and keep it under control, then there might be a chance of legalization. I smoke occaisionally, and I feel that Im fairly responsible with it. Yes, its illegal, but I dont drive, dont use power tools, or weapons. You just have to keep yourself under control.

It is illegal because the government cant tax it being it is so easy for the average person to get a finished product out of the plant itself.

so would tomatos be illegal if everyone started growing it themselves?
[/quote]
lol alot of ppl do grow them for themselves maye not where u live but where i grew up when i was little they did and some still do around here.
See that is different, People have no idea how many products can come from a pot plant. Everything from rope to clothes can be derived from it. Plus unlike tobacco it needs nowhere near the refinement to grow and produce the plants to a level that would hurt the economy if legal.
