im so jealous
my boss (the guy with the sick *** Z06) came up to me today and said he got rid of his wifes 5-series Beemer. He got a brand-new fully loaded G35 coupe.
he's already shopping on the Stillen site. he told his wife hes gonna take it to Thunderhill, and she said he has to teach her to race. so it looks like hes got a new project.
but dont worry Vette lovers, hes sending the oh six in to get stage 3 heads and cams. hes looking for 550 reliable horses. friends have more than that, but he wants the reliability. they break all the time. so a solid 50 horses up from where hes at, and that thing is already a beast. looks like i might need to take another ride. oh yeah, and i ran into a guy when we were out cruising on Saturday night. dude had an STI with over 700 horses. HOLY CRAP! the turbo was probably 10 inches across, and the inlet was easily big enough to stick my hand into. Damn.

STIs are notorious for bad trannies, but I'm sure he had major work done to his. As for your boss' G35 - those cars a very nice, although for the price, there are better choices(STI, EVO, 350Z, and S2k)
STI and EVO maybe, but id take the G35 over the Z or maybe even the S2, its basically a four seater Z, so the performance is a little lower, but its worth it for those extra 2 seats when you need it. and you have to realize its HER car, so its a daily driver first, a weekend racer second. and to girls, the brand name is way more important than the skidpad or quater mile numbers, and its an Infiniti, VS a Subaru, a Mitsubishi, a Honda, and a Nissan. it just has a ring to it that the others dont. its a status symbol that doubles as a race car with just a set of R-compound tires.
Quick question there is one here with "Skyline where it says infinity on the hatch..whats up with that. And some kid at the shop overheard this conversation and piped inthat the GTR will look like that/Really?

Thay are a psuedo luxury car manufactured in japan, not comparable to those out of Europe or England for that matter but as a US status quo they fit in with the likes.
