No offense but to me getting out and enjoying the summer weather is one of the better parts to drag racing and sure your using your own car but this is still not real drag racing. Real drag racing is all about going down the track and the feel of it.

Eh, for tuning you'd do normal dyno pulls... this just seems pointless to me

Where is the fun is sitting still with your wheels spinning? Without the experience of acceleration and speed it's no fun. That is probably like beating off, sure it might be a little fun but it's not the real thing.
