Well my mom came racing in my room this morning asking where the honda was. i was so out of it i just said it was in the driveway. She told me it wasnt and i ran as fast as i could up stairs. Sure enough. the hondas gone. I came home at 12:40 last night and it was still there. Im crying, the cops are on their way. its just a mess. It was parked closest to the house with 3 cars behind it. Im pretty sure someone got it of my carsoup ad. dammit

 

this is why the civic is one of the most stolen cars in america, if not THE most stolen.

those doods definitely wanted your car to back it out of the driveway like that.

 

well we looked more closely and they dragged the back end into the grass and then backed it out through the neighbors yard.

They are the most stolen for a couple of reasons, one is that they are largely un-noticable meaning they do not stick out of a crowd or anything. Another is that with such large production numbers they are everywhere so to speak, alot of times it is the first car a theif comes up on. One of the most important reasons is the ability to strip and sale parts off them. Like the one in this thread has a engine swap in it that will go for nearly $2500 shipped, the rims are worth around $400, the gauge cluster nearly $200, so on and so forth.
