Yesterday I got a big packet in the mail. To my delight it was notification that I may have to appear for jury duty in December. I guess that's what I get for wanting to use my voting rights.

My Dad had jury duty for 3 days last month.I went to it with him and got in trouble on the first day for talking to him during a recess they said" you must only talk with other people on the jury".His case was a civil suit of some constuction stuff with 1 company suing another for stuff leaking and having to redo a side of a 80 something building apartment complex.He took a vac he had cause they only pay you like 12.00 dollars a day plus gas to get there.It's not that bad it is pretty interesting.

 

tell the selection committee (prosecutor and defense team) that you ALREADY know that the dood is "GUILTY AS HELL!!1" and that he should burn in Hades!11

I personally guarantee they'll let you go 5 minutes later...

or u could say that you had sexual relations with the defendant, and they will let you out with that also...

 

Ahhh jury duty, nothing like having to drive one hour and a half and wait there like 4 hours, then you dont get picked and they give you a whopping 17 dollars( or somewhere around there) yeah they are so fun.

 

I dont ever have to serve on a jury... I claim permanent residency in Japan! Suckas!

 

screw jury duty, when you go in for them to interview you...act like your really bias , this way they wont pick you

 

i wouldn't mind doing jury duty i mean that it's something different to do.
