first jury duty thing i got in the mail i threw away. LMFAO
as long as they have NO PROOF that the letter was delivered and received BY ME... i dont see how they could do anything to me

OK, heres an update.
I don't go to work today, expecting jury duty. I call in for the afternoon schedule as directed. So far people have either told me that at this point I am off the hook or I will have to go in. Either way I have lost all hope.
Guess what the phone tells me my schedule is?
I am neither off the hook or have an assignment! "Please call back between 11 am and 12:30 pm on December 7th." FAN F***ING TASTIC! I miss a whole day of work, which I admit wasn't too bad because I got to sleep in, but now I have to wait another damn day before I know if they need me or not. At this point I am just going to go to work tomorrow, call the court from my cell, ask to speak to a rep, and flat out tell them I can't go.
I have too many things going on to be able to drop everything for some asshat suing his neighbor for tripping on his sidewalk.
