I have been away and recently went through to see what new information I can absorb and I feel a vibe of negativity. So when will there be an event for the whos who of HCF talkers to present their wares? I mean really we can ALL talk the big game cuz the info to spout is out there. However I believe a pic in/on/w/your ride denotes some ownership to it. Are these not the reasons we do not frequent the OTHER sites?The reason I am here is because some people on here have the info I need. I only give back when I CAN. Not to belittle somebody when my car is truelly crappier than their own.

It is kinda sad, some people are just like that... it's how they are. And most of the time I find that those people dont even own the cars or mods that they talk about. It's a sad world

you gave me an idea. Let's start a who's who thread with pics of the cars and their owners. it would be fun. although I don't have any pics of me with bimmer, and the car is currently undergoing a makeover at a bodyshop

 

I also agree... although I dont think that I am lieing to others because my car isnt that special and ive got inside pics of it and everything. I guess you are talking about people who are talking like they dropped 10 large on their cars right?

i agree however personally i couldn't see myself dropping 10 large on a civic screw that. call me cheap call me a loser but i have a family to take care of and 2 houses to pay for. i could care less if someone whoops me from red light to red light. if my self esteem falls to the depths of giving a **** about that kinda crap i'll just pull out the bike and race for some bragging rights or real bread. whatever

 

Hmmm...I like the idea of the who's who thread...and I personally have a cap of around 3 grand to spend on the civic... and than I'll just drive what I have....and I have another car coming up...(a damned New Beetle of my other halve's)

 

3k is a fair amount. I would build the motor, invest in a nice exhaust system, then get some wheels and a decent suspension setup
