I know there's a lot of people on here that don't discriminate cars by their content, but there's quite a few that label a car "rice" if it features something they either have no feeling for or if they just have an unfavorable opinion on something. I think most of us can agree on what rice is and that rice = not good. Lets not put rice labels on things such as nicely done minitrucks or completed show cars. Lets face it, some of those vehicles have more work put into them than some of us are willing to do. They are not unpainted-bodykitted-POS, and they are anything, but rice.


Just had to let the steam out[sm=headbang.gif], cuz some of us are doing what the others are doing to us, the civic drivers. Let's be better than haters, let's not hate other people's personal works of art. I love my car, all of you love your cars, and so do all of those other people who work and put their hard earned cash into their hobby.

i dont know about that, since i have been drivin the civic since it got fixed and getting 10mpg lol i have started to notice i have an anger managment problem with the slower drivers because i like to hear what my car sounds like in 3rd gear passing other cars lol

 

amen iwas getting sick of that rice crap i think is childish and not cool i got the rice bowl treatment on my wheelcover thread it pissed me off[:@][:'(] its foolishness

 

Just because it was expensive or took alot of time doesnt mean its not rice, actually thats the worst kind.

I'm not saying there aren't expensive riced cars. What I'm trying to get through to you guys that an S-dime baged on 20's and that has a wild paintjob is not rice. People point to them and say that they are rice because "that dumbass has altezzas on" or "he still has his stock 4banger in", but the truth is that those things don't really matter if in the end their toy looks good.

 

We need to realize that certain cars/trucks have a certain purpose. As long as they are able to do what they we're meant to, it is not rice. Rice is actually the complete opposite, it serves no purpose. I think some people are getting confused as to what rice is. Hope that helps.

I agree. If it doesnt have a praticale use unless its a exterior mod, then its rice. But, everyone has there own liking and opinoins.
