On a serious note, do you need a license for a scooter? I think you do, but if not, Honda Ruckus time! If you need a license for a scooter, mass transit and spend the year buying car parts.

I think ill just go with a bike and save up on car parts. Basically just coils/lip/paint. It will be nice to forget about maintenance too. Although its gonna SUCK not being able to drive anywhere!

You have enough time to build an entire car from scratch. Use some of Gene's mini-van discards to save money.
