Default Made a big decision last night.

I am not doing the perfomance thing anymore, I bought my car wanting a reliable long lasting engine, but putting a turbo or building it up, it not goin to work for me, sure I like to go fast and to have power but, I want my car to last a long time, so I am goin to bag my civic, and keep it slow, the speed limit, and i will still be able to hang out with everyone in town cause I still got some import style goin on. I think keeping it low is more me anyway be able to drop the front right or lean to the left at the stop light or pop it up at the drive throw, I.m goin to put a dvd screen in maybe a xbox or ps2, and when I roll up to the hang out spot on weekend i just play with my bags for a bit then kick back and play some need for speed, you know,or watch a movie. I dont need no tickets or possibly wreck and die or kill someone else. Do yall feel me on this.

I don't know about this. Theree's just too many coupes out there with all show and no go. If you want to make your car look good - sell the civic, and buy something that has more appeal to it. Something like integra, or maybe maxima. These cars already have some go (which your civic lacks) and they are just as easy to mod. Just my .02

I think andryuha is closest to the mark on this one. If you want a car that looks good, a Civic is just a little too cliche and overused (which is actually kind of redundant). There's too many half-assed dress up jobs out there that people hardly ever look twice at a bodified Civ.

As long as you dont race it then your fine with the outside dress up. I understand that some people buy civic to drive it from point a to point b while saving money at the pump and not tending to use it for racing. They can still dress it up to drive in style without and engine as long as they aren't tending to race it.

I just really hate it when people dress up their car on the outside and go there trying to race people without any mod. Reving up their stock engine and crap. But im cool with ppl dressing it up on the outside as long as they just dont go out there trying to race it with just appearance.

hey, its better to decide that, and enjoy the car for just cruisin and having fun, than go out street racing and slam into my car when you run a red light. if that makes you happy, props. personally, im all about building the car to be a circuit performer, and gain a little drag strip bragging rights, but its all about the corners.

I dont know guys, I just don want to screw my engine up and not be able to have a car to drive, I dont have the money to rebuild whenver I please, or drive another car, well I do got a honda 1100 but I dont like to ride everyday. Yea I am not going to go out and act like I am fast, cause I know I am not, I just want a fun cruisin vehicle. Maybe later I will buy I real cheap civic an older one and put the b18c type R motor that I was goin to buy, and strip it out and just have it for power, not looks. The car I have now, I like the way it looks I dont want a body kit, or anything just want to bag it, I spent 9 grand on this car. I dont want to F-up a nice car.
