Good call mxs, I was just thinking I should dig this up the other day!

So far, Patrick and Forty have said they'll be there, I'm in if other people are going.

Here it is again so you don't have to go back a page:

Here's what the schedule (I'm thinkin) would look like:

Jan. 13 or 20 Friday - Travel Day
Friday Night - take over a bar somewhere
Jan. 14 or 21 Saturday - Show Day
Saturday Night - Take over another bar
Jan. 15 or 22 Sunday - Travel Day

^For people who have to travel. Other people can get there saturday, leave saturday, whatever.

The show opens at 9am and closes at 10pm. Tickets are $12. If we can get 25 people to go they're only $8.

The times I've gone, we've left Friday, went to the show Saturday then drove home, like a 4-5 hour drive from here.

 

wOOt, I can't wait, should be a damn good time. Especially the "taking over bars" part, haha.


Just too bad its in the winter, if it was nice we'd all have our cars done up and could have a photoshoot.

 

Hey if anyone from the South goes.... I can drive.... just don't wanna drive all that way in a car by myself SWF and all. Hell i'll even spring for the gas....

 

Where in the south, Fran? There's some other people in various places down there.

 

TN.... but if all else fails... i checked on a plane ticket and room... depending on where I stay it will only be around $300-$400.... and that beats the hell out of driving alone for 10.5 hours.

 

If you're looking for a hotel get one in Windor, Ontario (Canada.) Little travel tip. They're cheaper and actually closer to the Cobo center then almost anything in Detroit.

 

I'm clueless about Detroit.... would it be better to fly to Canada or Detroit?

 

Everyone loves Chicago and the Auto Show comes to town in February. Last year i believe Chicago was the host to the biggest auto show in he United States (i think). 2 Birds, 1 stone.

 

Yeah I realized it was December so this is only a little over a month away.

 

Flying into Detroit would prolly be cheaper, I don't know if Windsor even has an airport.
