Well time to add my 2 cents.

Going on a trip and not calling, I'd be out hunting down some girls and don't have time to sit on the phone.

Telling a girl that I'll call her in 30 minutes after she shows up at my door, there's another girl inside and that'll give me enough time to get rid of her.

I think he's cheating. That's what I'd be doing at least.

Amanda, I don't know what his guy's like, but fyi, when I go on vacation with my family, I'm always busy, doing stuff. I don't call anyone, don't worry about stuff at home, don't even check my email. Hope everything works out with you two.

Why are girls so naive? smarten up, if he cared about you at all he would call. period. apologizing after doing all of that? of course he would, he still wants the companionship. Imagine what the future generation of families is going to be like.."my 4th daddy can kick your 5th daddys ***!" "yeah well my 3 mom can kick your 4th moms ***, and still cook dinner in time!"

That is what I think is really going on. Im surprised you took him back Amanda. IMHO I think hes worthless. Really though, the thing when he said to basically go away for 30 minutes is B.S.. Either he was cheating on you or sucked into a video game. The last time I checked, video games didnt keep me or any guy I know of from seeing any girl at their doorstep.

 

Even if he's not cheating, he obviously doesn't have it together enough to stop and thing, "Hey, I'm in a relationship with someone. Maybe I should not just find, but make a couple minutes to call them and check in."
If it doesn't occur to him that you spend any of your time thinking about him, and if it doesn't occur to him that maybe he should at least pretend to care, then you really don't need to deal with him.
This is some basic stuff that should be obvious. That is: Call your girl/boyfriend before they call you, wondering why you haven't called.

Go find someone who does what you want without you having to tell/beg them.

Doesn't really seem that he has your best interest at heart, but best of luck to both of you. Hopefully things will improve and you can both be happy.
