I let the adrenaline get the best of me in my first run, which was an embarrasing collage of wheel hop, burning clutch, and a near stall out. But, after that run the jitters were gone and the rest of the night was a blast.

 

This is a drag strip, i thought is was like a track with turns, if you guys can get the track, count me in

 

I haven't got a chance to call him yet and i wont until thursday or friday cause im learning scene7 from my work and i wont get out of that until 5 or 6 each day. Im hoping we can get a day where we can drag and tune, that would be cool as hell.

 

Ok i got a message from Bryan and here it is:

If you are interested in having a day event on the weekend I have enclosed a list of the potential dates. Keep in mind that there are numerous other clubs given the same list, therefore it’s a first come first serve. If a date is decided on and the style of event: track rental or open, there are methods to secure the date. Price varies on the amount of cars racing, facilities/attractions required, and amount of time needed.

If you guys want a certain day on the weekend ill see if i can get it reserved for us. Like it says, first come first serve basis. Still got a little bit of time to plan all this out too.

 

OH OH, May 14th!!! It's my b-day


...I actually dont care, I'm down for whatever as long as it's not in September (Wedding, honeymoon, etc...)

 

Man we could do it on June 11th, thats my birthday...j/k. Last thing i would want to do on my b-day is wreck my car at the track. It looks like all the days Bryan gave me all fall on Sundays. Hey Forty, you know any other people that might be interested in a meet? If we get this actually going i might bring some of my honda buddies up with me, one has a 6th gen with a B16 swap in it and the other one has a done up accord for show.

 

Possibly.. I really need to get my car done and get back out on the "scene." I haven't hung out with the honda guys in quite some time, but I should be meeting with them in the next couple weeks.

sorry...it doesnt look like anythings gunna work for me. all of may is gunna be reviewing for finals and stuff adnw e're gunna be bogged down with review work, all of june im out west with the family, july im backpacking in colorodo then doing some marching band stuff, then im booked all of augest with marching band. sucks.
