Mitsu Evo

Mitsu Evo
I pass by the mitsu dealership almost every single day. They have 10 evo's lined up at the front but I havent seen one of them budge in 6 months. Whats up with that? On the same road I pass one of the best Honda dealerships in america ... "Rick Hendrick Honda" (yup thats the nascar guy that sponsors a couple of Nascars) and not one honda sits in one spot for more than a week. They fly out there like tacos. They normally have 3 S2000's hanging out there but they are now down to one... that was the one I test drove, rather ugly (blue exterior blue leather). But my main question is, are mitsu evo's a piece? If not why arent they selling?

RE: Mitsu Evo
Well, the sad fact is that many people are either turned off by the looks (god knows why...) or they just don't know what it can do; or a little of both. Most people would rather buy a Sube than an Evo, it seems... tsk tsk.

RE: Mitsu Evo
yeah, that 14-19 hp over the evo tempts people too much.[:'(] but go see how much they want for a gsr, the normal level, not the MR. chances are, they want too much for them. they always seem to tack an extra few grand onto MSRP.

RE: Mitsu Evo
no no no no no no. thats not what i meant. i mean that the dealers add like 5-15 grand on to the MSRP. which is already 30K+. so its hard to spend that much on one when you know Mitsu only expects 30 for one. and i can tell you first hand, they are WELL worth the money if you can afford it. but you have to be able to afford to OWN an evo, not just afford to buy one. they get less than 20MPG, unless you get a VTA BOV (vent to atmosphere blow off valve, so you can hear it.) then it goes down to about 12-15 MPG. and insurance is a grip. tires are a grip, and mods are REALLY expensive. but if you have money to burn, thats a well worthwhile fire.
